Alt
Jugelow (Gogolewo), Kreis Stolp, Pommern
Alt Jugelow (Gogolewo) is of interest
to me as was adjacent to Neu Jugelow which contained the Johan Jacob Remus
family formerly of Karstenitz.
This village has a
manorial
farm and pictured below has
impressive manorial barns. Both Alt Jugelow and Neu Jugelow were owned by the von
Zitzewitz family who lived in nearby Daber (and several other families over the years).
The village now
appears to have been divided into small farms. Here are those pictures plus
pictures of two older village buildings:
The village has a new church that is shown in
several pictures following on Corpus Christi day:
